OCuSOFT, Inc. Names Patrick Ward, R. Ph., M.B.A.
As Executive Vice President

Richmond, TX (January 10, 2011) – OCuSOFT, Inc., an ophthalmic research, development, and supply company is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Ward, R.Ph., M.B.A. as its new Executive Vice President.
His recent experience includes serving as Vice President, Finance and Administration and co-founder of Aviara Pharmaceutical Research, a startup biopharmaceutical company, and formerly as Executive Director of Business Development of Encysive Pharmaceuticals. As a pharmacist with over 15 years of international experience in business development, strategic planning and operations, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the OCuSOFT team.
Mr. Ward received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Houston and his M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas’ Cameron School of Business. His educational background combined with his business acumen make him an invaluable asset to OCuSOFT’s goal of maintaining a strong infrastructure as well as continuing to acquire, license and develop innovative products.
