February 6, 2017 – Houston, TX — Companies that excel at employee relations, use innovation to motivate
employees, implement creative compensation programs and more will be recognized by National
Association for Business Resources (NABR) at Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®
symposium and awards gala on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Marriott Houston West Loop Galleria.
This year’s winners practice innovative strategies and represent best practices in industries as diverse as
energy, medical, financial services and nonprofit. (See the following list of honorees.)
An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry, based on key measures in various
categories. They include Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment,
Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and
Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and
Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; and Strategic Company Performance.

forefront of their policies,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO, National Association for Business

The celebratory Symposium will begin with registration; breakfast; networking and educational programs
as well as a community project with a local non profit organization. The awards presentation will begin at
10:15 a.m. and the program will conclude at 11:30 a.m.
